Description:
NSN, 9mm RF, 8" octagonal Barrel with a fine, bright bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. The barrel of this pistol retains 70% of the original blue turning plum-brown with silvering at the muzzle and on the edges of the facets. The breech block and hammer have about 90% of the original nickel finish remaining which has darkened to plum-brown on the hammer spur and breech opener tab. Bright nickel remains on the top action metal while the triggerguard and ornate butt-cap (all of which have a matching engraving motif) have a darkly mottled gray patina throughout. The walnut stock has ornate floral carvings on the forend with deep axial flutes along the grip. There is a nice varnish finish added over scattered light blemishes and handling marks. The action is still tight and functions flawlessly. This is a handsome "big bore" Flobert pistol and would make a neat addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
