* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Colt SAA Revolver. serial # 37xx, cal. 45, this revolver has a 7 1/2” one line barrel address with a dark bore and strong rifling, two line patent address and a 6 shot fluted cylinder. The rear of the trigger guard is stamped 45 cal., along with several British Proofs stamped on cylinders and barrel. Revolver has a replaced German silver front sight along with the hammer that is a proper replacement. Nice walnut grips. The barrel and frame show some blue but the majority is a mixture of brown and graying. Accompanying this Colt is a factory letter listing information on the gun along with, Shipped to: Colt's Patent Fire-Arms Mfg. Company London Agency, Address: London, England, Date of Shipment: January 5, 1874. The overall condition as described is good – good plus. Inv.: # 12-133
