Walther P38 Semi-Auto Pistol, code: svw45 Mauser, made during the French occupation of Mauser Works, serial # 6148 g matching, cal. 9mm, 5” barrel with a very good bore. This pistol with its gray finish is referred to as a Gray Ghost, the metal retains 92% of the original phosphate finish with just a little high edge wear. This pistol was assembled from parts that had never been inspected by the Nazis and only has the French 5 pointed star acceptance stamp located on the right side of the slide, the underside of the slide also carries a hidden import stamp. The left grip has a plum hue finish and the right has silver/gray finish. Included is one original blued 8 round magazine stamped "P.38v" on left side. As described the overall condition is very good – very good plus. Inv.: # 1-1285
