US Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 Bolt Action Sporterized Rifle with Sedgley Barrel, serial # 10994. cal. 30-06, with a 24” four groove Sedgley “mark "S" inside circle” barrel that has an excellent bore. The metal surfaces have been reblued & retain about 95%+ coverage. Sporting rear sight installed. Stock is an original 2 bolt finger groove stock that has been heavily modified & sanded and is now much thinner than originally issued and more in line with a sporterized rifle stock. A nice rifle sporterized beautifully but with its low serial number it’s not recommended to be fired unless certified safe to shoot by a competent gunsmith. The overall condition is very good - very good plus. Inv.: # 2-1730
