Description:
This US Krag is dated 1895 and has a 20k serial range. Early features. Has it been through an arsenal refinish?? Metal is mostly a grey/blue. Pretty good smooth metal except for the bbl band which is pitted and some at the receiver bridge. Likely from poor storage. Stock has been refinished and there is no cartouche. This gun is typical of a Krag with silky smooth action. Not all that many Krags fall into the antique range but this one does.
