Description:
Smith & Wesson Second Model American, .44 S&W caliber, single action revolver, with an 8” barrel,, Walnut grips, serial #8550.
This revolver remains in very good original condition showing 50% + original blue, evenly drifting and toning. Areas where the finish has lifted show some light erosion and pinprick pitting.
The screws are decent and the edges are sharp and crisp, with areas of bright blue remaining.
The grips are good to very good with some wear at the edges, minor wear marks. The action is tight, the interior is clean. The cylinder, latch and barrel show a matching assembly number, grips are numbered to the frame.
This a nice looking gun. You won’t be disappointed to have this in your collection.
