Description:
MARLIN/HIGGINS model 228 (Marlin 81) with a 16 1/4" barrel, and a very clean shiny micro-groove bore. This fine gun was rebuilt by a professional gun smith who relined the barrel, and mounted on the top rail a Bushnell scope with crystal clear optics. the action is very smooth and comes with on magazine. The metal is blue turning to brownish, and clean. The American hardwood stock is very good with no issues and a dis-colored section near the back hard rubber butt-plate. this custom rifle fires .22 short, .22 long and .22lr. Gun with a good reputation for accuracy. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in. If you can only pay with a card let me know.
