Description:
25" tapered round Douglas barrel with full-band detented-hooded front sight, full-band swivel base, and 1 standing and 3 folding gold-lined island-mounted express sights. Stocked with fully figured European walnut by Ike Ellis of Idaho Falls, with ebony forend tip, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders and point-pattern ribbons, steel capped pistol grip, double-beaded cheekpiece, inletted and pedestalled rear swivel stud and London Guns Silvers-type red rubber recoil pad. Winchester pre-'64 Model 70 action with jeweled bolt, 5-panel checkered bolt knob, Model 70 safety, hinged straddle floorplate and checkered bolt stop. Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8 matte-finish scope with fine duplex reticle on Redfield mounts. Engraved by Lee Griffiths with gold inlaid bear on floorplate, bugling elk on left front receiver ring, mule deer buck on right; ram on left rear receiver ring and moose on right---all surrounded with foliate scroll and extensive gold borderlinework. Pull: 14". Weight: 9lbs, 15oz. Built 2003. 99%+blue. Excellent bore.
