Description:
24 1/4" tapered round barrel of Boehler Spezial steel with full-band front sight, full-band swivel base and 1 standing saddle-mounted express sight. Stock of figured Russian walnut with contrasting-wood forend tip and grip cap, rear swivel base, engraved recoil crossbolt, oakleaf-bordered fishscale "checkering", Monte Carlo cheekpiece, and brown Old English recoil pad. Oakleaf carved band around end of buttstock and four pronghorn in mountain scene covering virtually the entire right side of the buttstock, by Norbert Triebel. Mauser action with spoon-shaped bolt handle striated on the underside, Buehler-type safety, double-set triggers, oakleaf-engraved shotgun-type triggerguard. Oakleaf engraved bottom metal and with gold inlaid elk buck and doe on detachable floorplate by Norbert Triebel. Kahles Helia Super 3-9x42mm scope with very fine crosshair and small central reticle with soldered half-rings on quick-detachable claw mounts---the front mounted to a barrel saddle. Pull: 13 7/8". Weight: 9lbs, 11oz. Virtually new condition.
