Description:
This is a Lewis model 4E with 28" long barrels and double, gold plated, checkered triggers. The length of pull is 14-1/4" to a factory butt plate and the drop at the comb is 1-1/2" and the drop at the heel is 2-5/8". The gun weighs 6 ponds 4 ounces. The left bore is .633 dia with .005 choke and the Right bore is .636 dia and has .039 choke. The barrel wall thickness, in the thinest area, is .025, so it's barrel thickness is OK. The barrel tops are marked Krupp Fluid Steel. Wonderful bird gun with beautiful wood.This gun was made in 1906.
