This is a British Victorian Era Ammo pouch. If you actually know the history of this piece and its date please let me know. This pouch is aproximately 1870'S or so vintage. Possibly lancers, Hussers, not sure?? ,probably .476 pistol cartridge. Possibly .577 rifle cartridges laying down.? Also possibly India service? Its in nice condition for being so old. ,I have included a photo from all sides and the interior. Th ring and flap that holds it shut does function fine. The interior leather strap in long and intact,.there is a wood interior bottom.. The interior measures about 4and1/4" wide and aprox 2" tall, the exterior is 6" wide at the widest part.
