Walther G-43 (AC 44), Caliber 8 mm, Serial Number 52XX e.
A really lovely example of "Hitler's Garand". The finish shows no rust or pitting but has thinned overall to about 80+%. The cast receiver is stamped Eagle/159 and Eagle/WaA159. All numbered parts match including the stock which appears to have an Eagle/Swastika on the pistol grip. The laminated stock has no splits or dings anywhere. The barrel finish has thinned along with the rest of the gun, again not showing any rust or pitting. The bore does show some graying but still is very bright with strong rifling. The barrel has the very scarce threaded muzzle and with the original thread protector, something collectors look for. It should be a good shooter. The gun comes with one proper blued magazine stamped gcb, Eagle/WaA xx2, and K-43. A really scarce and handsome gun at a really fair price. $3395.
To make a complete sniper rig (as shown, the scope shown is an original and is marked Gw, ZF 4, Dow/ 31628. It has the proper T reticle and is bright and crisp. It does show about 50% of exterior finish. The mount is a good quality reproduction (may require fitting). It is available at $850.
