Description:
Serial #K19919, .303 British, 25” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1918 dated, BSA-made rifle that has a matching numbered bolt and a “MARTIN ADJUSTED” target barrel (so marked on the knox form and the barrel) mated to a Parker 9F rear sight with adjustable aperture disk. The metal retains 90% of the original blue finish that blends smoothly into a plum-brown patina on the balance with some mild silvering along a few of the exposed edges and surfaces. A small and unobtrusive import mark is present on the right side of the receiver in addition to the standard military markings. The walnut stock and handguards have crisp Enfield stamps on the underside aft of the nosecap with some scattered minor handling marks and small surface blemishes throughout.
