Description:
S# 150398, 32 Cal, 24 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and even erosion thoughout. This special order 1873 was built in 1884 and it remains in very good condition with most metal surfaces showing a brown patina. Loading gate still shows 25% blue. The dust cover is a replacement . Barrel and mag tube end show some small dings fro improper reassembly. Wood was lightly sanded and refinished long ago. Right side of forend shows a 3 inch repaired crack. Rifle comes with a Cody Letter describing features and 1884 ship date. Antique.
