This is a custom Remington 30 Express with the Remington marking on the receiver and 22" barrel .The factory grooves on the front receiver ring are still viseable.Caliber is 30-06 , Lyman Permacenter 4x scope on an Echo detachable mount..( ONLY THE LYMAN 4x GOES WITH RIFLE ) Also has a lyman 48 peep sight and a dummy slide.Checkered metal buttplate.The metal work was done by Robert Keel gunsmith from the Albany N.Y. area around 1950. Rifle is light and accurate has mercury recoil reducer in buttstock.
