Payment Types Accepted: Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, Personal Checks Description: Very scarce antique Winchester Model 1887 Lever Action 10 Gauge Shotgun. Serial number 44,XXX manufactured in 1892. The 1887 was designed for Winchester by John Browning & was the first Lever Action Shotgun manufactured in the US. It was John Browning's first shotgun patent. Barrel is 27", OAL is 42", bore is .79", 4 shot tube magazine. Gun has iconic Winchester Repeating Arms "Lever Action Shotgun" Monogram on left side & faint "10" (Gauge) on top of barrel just in front of breech. Overall in very good condition, barrel shows a mix of original blue with a gray patina on the balance, bore has some pitting. The semi-pistol grip stock has a repair on the right side of the grip. Very neat piece that would make a great addition to any collection. SOLD |
