Description:
Cal 44 RF. Orig early flip-up sights. Bbl band sight on the front and a little flip-up on the back. Fine functioning action. Bore would benefit from a good cleaning. Looks to have deep sharp rifling. Wood is in VG cond with minor mars. Early rifle style buttplate. Good bbl markings. Bbl and mag tube have turned mostly a plum/brown color with traces of blue in protected areas. Receiver has sharp corners, crisp tight action and orig saddle ring. Both receiver and buttplate appear to have a gold gilt over them which is quite heavy in protected areas. Fairly light in the carry point. About 60% of this finish remains. I have seen this before and I can't say for positive that it is gold but it appear sto be. Sharp clean little gun.
