THIEM & SCHLEGELMILCH, SUHL NIMROD GRADE 2 DOUBLE 16GA. SHOTGUN CIRCA 1910. Shortened 25 ¾” fluid steel barrels with 2 ½” chambers and choked cylinder and cylinder. Side plate boxlock engraved within a banner with the maker’s name and address on the left plate and similarly on the right “NIMROD/GEWEHR-FABRIK”. Extractors, double triggers and cocking indicators. Non-auto safety. Fancy walnut checkered pistol grip, cheek rest stock with old White Line pad and checkered splinter forend ( 14” pull over pad, 1 ½”- 2 ½” drop). Repaired hairline at right wrist. Fine as refinished overall with all the custom blue and casehardening. Stock and forend refinished and checkering recut. Working order and bright bores.
