FINE DARNE V17 GRADE DOUBLE 16 GAUGE SHOTGUN CIRCA 1930’S. 27” fluid steel barrels with 2 1/2” chambers and choked improved cylinder and improved modified. Ornately scroll and rose bouquet engraved top lever horizontal extractor action with acanthus leaf high relief chiseled fences. Top lever signed “DARNE” in a cartouche. Coin finished action and top lever. Blued barrels. Sling swivels and double triggers. Straight grip checkered walnut stock and splinter forend. Horn forend cap. 14 ½” pull over old solid rubber pad. Slight normal cast for a right hand shooter. Excellent overall with barrels retaining all of the custom reblued finish. Action and top lever coin finished and excellent with perfect engraving. Stock and forend beautifully refinished and checkering recut by a professional. Working order and excellent, bright bores.
