In one of the photos you will see V W NO5 360 markings which are certainly done with a electro-mechanical pen. However, the Webley flying bullet trademark is a stamping. In the British Bulldog book by Black, Ficken, and Michaels there is a chapter on bulldogs with Webley markings ,but obviously made in Belgium.The barrel is 3 1/4 inches. Works fine in single and double action , but not catching for loading notch.Even though made in Belgium has the exposed sear behind trigger action of a Webley.One piece grips are nice.Fair amount of bluing on nice steeple flutes of cylinder, top strap, barrel and rest nice smooth metal. Note the unusual rifling in muzzel photo.Screws are decent and overall a nice piece.Sold as collectors' gun and if intending to shoot should be checked by gunsmith. Will consider in trade a Maynard Model 1873 / 1882 action with stock for a Maynard heavy barrel Or, what do you have available in Maynard ? SALE PENDING
