PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER. 6 shot with 8” octagon barrel having the three line barrel stamp with “1858” patent date, “E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N. Y. U.S.” address and “NEW MODEL”. U.S. Cavalry standard issue during the Civil War. All original and matching with the exception of the hammer screw which is a replacement and the grips which are old but later replacements which fit and are correct as to form. Government Ordnance Sub-inspector’s stamps on the left side of the barrel and on the trigger guard. Working order and good bore and chambers.
