Six shot with 8” octagon barrel. Early Western Frontier Era Remington Factory conversion from the Civil War percussion original to the .44 rim fire cartridge. Made without provision for loading gate. All original except the grips which are very old period of use replacements. Colorful well used example that has a very pleasing original patina with salt and pepper overall.
