CIVIL WAR REMINGTON U.S. 1863 NEW MODEL .44 CAL. PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER. 6 shot with 7” octagon barrel altered from 8” during the 1860’s or 70’s as it shows even usage with the condition overall. Fine dark metal patina. Never cleaned attic condition. Original walnut factory grips. Working order with dark bore and chambers. Very nice looking and colorful example of this U.S. Cavalry Civil War classic that shows the kind of use extending well beyond the Civil War probably into the 1880’s.
