CIVIL WAR REMINGTON U.S. 1863 NEW MODEL .44 CAL. PERCUSSION ARMY REVOLVER. 6 shot with 7” octagon barrel altered from 8” during it’s prime period of use (1860’s-70’s) with matching patina. Handsome dark metal finish which is 100% original . Has a nice as found “in the attic” look. Original factory walnut grips. Working order. Dark bore but good rifling. U.S. Cavalry Civil War standard issue that obviously saw extended service well into the 1870’s and possibly the 1880’s. Colorful and reasonably priced.
