14-156 Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” BBL. Serial 88904
on barrel frame. Standard Markings, “Patented Sept 14 1858/E Remington & Sons Ilion New York, USA/New Model”, the bore is shiny and fine with 85-95 % of rifling and some little corrosion in the lands; cylinder chambers are a little dirty. Actions works well and locks up tight when cocked, metal finish has turned very dark blue has a few light patches of corrosion on frame. Walnut grips are fine with a few dents etc. But fit wells and look good. . Overall a very good shooter and original antique Civil War Era Remington Army suitable for collector/shooter.
