NOTE: From 1968 to 1975, "SO" guns built for the Garcia U.S. Market, were renamed. The SO3EL was designated SO4, and the SO3EELL was designated SO5. After the Garcia import era, Beretta went back to EL and EELL and dropped the SO5 name, but retained the SO4 designation for the Competition guns. Then when the mid 1980s redesign occured and the SO3 became the SO6, the SO4 became the SO5.
