Description:
This is a very nice completely original 1903A3 Springfield Rifle made by Remington Arms for the war effort and with a February of 1943 dated barrel which matches the receiver number 3487xxx. Rifle is just about in as issued condition, with the usual minor handling marks from years of storage, etc. All finishes are totally original to the firearm which is not one of those that has been redone multiple times by various arsenals, etc. prior to surplus sale or lend lease sale. A nice original gun which is getting more and more difficult to come by.
