Description:
Full oct bbl rifle, full length mag tube and crescent butt. Cal 45-60. This rifle is in the 25k serial range. Pretty good eye appeal gun with some blue remaining on the receiver. The balance is turning a pleasing antique color. Bbl is mostly brown with good markings and sharp edges. Half way down on the right hand side of the bbl and mag tube it looks like it had a spot of poor storage. Some light pin pricking in that area. Rocky Mountain blade style front sight and standard rear sight. Bore has some roughness and is in fair to good cond. Equipped with a dust cover. Wood fits good to both upper and lower tang. Forearm fits quite well. There has been a coat of some old varnish or lacquer put on it years ago. A decent looking 1876.
