Description:
The Marlin Safety Model 36R is the daddy of the modern Model 336. It has a flat bolt, 20" barrel and a bright bore. Metal and wood finish would put it well above NRA VG for a modern firearm. No serious dings or scratches. Can't say for sure the date of mfgr. because the letter before the serial numbers seems to be misstamped. Looks like a D to me, if so date would be 1947, but photo shows it clearly so you can decide. Barrel is marked "Marlin Firearms Co. New Haven Conn. USA" and " Model 36R 30-30.". Real nice condition overall. FFL required, 25.00 shipping.
