Description:
Post war Winchester Model 61 rifle with 24 inch octagon barrel, caliber 22 long rifle only. Manufactured in1947, serial number in the 75,000 range, has the larger pump handle which is correct and the original steel butt plate. Bore is bright and shiny, barrel blue 90%, reciever 80%blue with light scratches and light freckeling, pump handle 95%, stock is solid no cracks, but numerous scratches and dents. Its not mint, but still very attractive. Most octagons were prewar, post war is unusual. I have owned this gun for over 40 years, its very accurate.Must ship to FFL $35.00 tto ship, Will need postal money order for payment.
