Description:
I purchased  this rifle new in 1969, which makes it 46 years new. It's a beauty. No longer made in .22 caliber, probably because it was to expensive to manufacture. It weighs 7 lbs, 4 oz. You know you are holding something of quality when you pick this one up. It was made in Italy by the high quality Navy Arms company. It looks like the Winchester model  1866. The receiver and butt plate are heavy brass. The rest of the metal is nicely blued  with a high polish. The nicely grained walnut stock and forepiece have an oil finish. As a safety measure, the lever must be depressed (up to the stock)  or the trigger won't fire. There is a blued landyard ring on the left side of the receiver. Aside from one or two minor handling marks, this rifle as as new. The rear sight is adjustable. I never got around to shooting it. Perhaps you will.

The marks shown on the brass in the pictures is merely the normal way brass tends to tarnish. I'm sure they would polish out if desired. There is no rust or staining.
