Description:
Serial #7386, 7.65mm (.32 ACP), 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a hardly used pistol made in the 1920s that retains 98-99% of the original blue on the slide, frame, and barrel, with 97-98% of the brilliant fire blue remaining on the trigger and safety lever. The “STOCK” marked hard rubber grips are in excellent, little-used condition with only a single, very minor spot of discoloration on the right panel. The pistol comes with an extremely rare, original, two-piece cardboard box that has Fred Biffar & Co. (Chicago ditributor) end label on the cover. The box is in good shape but does have some separated edges and corners as well as light-moderate foxing and staining of the exterior paper. An original Franz Stock instruction booklet is also included. This is a fantastic example of a fairly commonplace inter-wars German pocket pistol, but with an exceptionally rare box and manual. It would make a stellar addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
