Description:
S# NSN , 22 short, 28 inch barrel, good bore with erosion thoughout. This rifle was built from 1912 to 1913. Metal surfaces show a brown patina with areas of cold blue added. The thumb piece on the block is broken, rear sight slide is missing as is the bayonet lug and the tang is cracked and has a decent old repair (see photos). Wood remains sound with added oil over many small marks. Barrel shows second style marking in front of handguard , barrel bottom is stamped "E' in front of frame. No serial number shows on barrel bottom. FFL or C+R
