This is a handsome, 1952-made pistol that features a removable barrel weight, integrally forged muzzle compensator, and checkered walnut, over-sized walnut grips with right hand thumb-rest. The pistol has retained practically all of its original blue finish with only faint traces of silvering on a few of the high and projecting edges. The grips, likewise, have practically no wear or evidence of use. The pistol is housed in its original cardboard box and comes with two original magazines, an original cleaning brush, and original barrel weight wrench. The box is in very good shape, although there is some bubbling and fading to the printed paper label, edge and corner wear, and the two fabric lid retainers have broken. This is a seldom seen, 63 year old competition pistol that has managed to survive in virtually new condition with its original accessories. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection.
