This single shot rifle was designed to accept both the standard service round as well as the reduced power cadet round and has two sets of rear sight graduations: full power on the left (max. 1200 meters), cadet round on the right (max. 400 meters). The rifle has all matching numbers and retains 98-99% of the original blue finish with some traces of silvering at the muzzle as well as hints of silvering along a few of the projecting edges and surfaces. The bolt has a pale, pewter gray patina overall with some mild freckling and the ruddy brown Bakelite bolt handle is intact and in excellent condition. The stock has a still clear Swiss cartouche on the right side of the butt with some minor handling marks and surface blemishes scattered about an armory re-applied finish. This is a great and seldom seen Swiss rifle and is in excellent condition overall.
