Description:
Serial #19253, .303 British, 21 3/4? barrel with a fine, bright bore that has mild freckling within the grooves. This is a handy, carbine length rifle that has a ?FULTON REGULATED? B.S.A. barrel that retains 90-92% of the original that has silvered at the muzzle and along the high edges and projections. Further silvering and gray fading can be seen on the bearing surfaces of the carbine style bolt which also has some darker plum-brown freckling on the handle as well. The receiver bridge and magazine cut-off have been removed. The checkered walnut forend with horn tip and checkered pistol grip buttstock have scattered minor handling marks and small blemishes with some mild flattening of the points throughout. A blank metal escutcheon plate is present on the belly of the butt, and a five round magazine is included. This is a really handsome rifle that would make a great light-medium game gun for dense woods, and is in fine plus overall condition. FFL or C&R
