Description:
Serial #DG275630E, .410 bore (2 1/2?), 27 1/2? VR barrels with excellent, bright bores. This is a truly handsome shotgun that features a high competition rib with centerline matting and mid-rib bead (which has broken off but could easily be replaced). The skeet choked barrels retain virtually all of the original blue finish while the engraved, coin finished, ?Diamond/Grade? marked frame, trigger guard, and forend iron likewise exhibit practically no use or wear. The checkered wide forend and pistol gripped buttstock have beautiful, lightly figured walnut with a 14 1/4? length of pull from the slightly faded single gold trigger to the lightly used original black Winchester pad. The stock has drops of 1 1/4? and 1 1/2? respectively with some scattered small surface blemishes marring the otherwise excellent, glossy original finish. The lock-up is rock solid and the gun, which is housed in its original suede-lined travel case (in nearly new condition) with key and snap caps, is in almost new condition. This would be a fabulous small bore gun for skeet or five stand. FFL
