Description:
Serial #42154S5, 12 ga. (2 3/4”),30” VR barrels with fine, bright bores that has some very mild freckling within the bottom barrel (choked Full and I.M.). This is a handsome, 1965-made shotgun that has retained 97-98% of the original blue finish on the barrels with some mild fading just starting to appear along a handful of the high edges and projections. The floral scrollwork engraved frame likewise has a commensurate amount of the original blue remaining with a bit of mild fading at the tip of the forend latch. The checkered forend and pistol gripped buttstock are also in excellent condition with some minor crazing of the glossy original varnish finish, and some further small spots of finish loss on the left side of the stock. The gun has a 14 1/2” length of pull to the original Browning White Line recoil pad and locks up tightly with the lever still right of center. The gun is housed in its original Browning hard case with snap caps and is an excellent example of a little-used Broadway Trap. FFL & C&R
