Yugoslavian Yugo M48 Model 48 Mauser K98
A recent C.A.I. import still in Cosmoline. The Yugo Crest has been filed off. This is a pure Factory 44 rifle later to be know as Zastava Armory as per markings on the receiver. No left over German inspection stamps so it's definitely a Serbian K98 design. This is a solid rifle with a good bore. Barrel and bands blued, but receiver and bolt bluing worn off or never was. The receiver, bolt and floor plate match with the original serial number 5715 and the glue finished stock is forced matched, this could have been a K98 stock. The action works fine if sloppy since it is gummed up with Cosmoline. Unique checker pattern on Right side of stock. More pictures by request.
