This Inland is a early high wood oval cut stock variation. Serial number is 387146, barrel date is 4-43. All the parts are correct Inland parts for this time frame. The stock and handguard are in very fine condition showing the ordnance wheel clearly. the sling slot has the correct IO code. The wide groove hand guard also has the IO code. The sling is the correct olive drab color of WW2. The oiler is the IS code. The carbine has the correct blued flat bolt. The rear flip sight is the correct style for this carbine. The sight appears to be original to the gun. The bore is bright and clean with no problems. The magazine is also Inland coded. The type one barrel band is the correct three weld Inland band. This is a nice clean Inland with a great looking stock! These earlier style carbines are getting hard to find in original condition today. This is a nice carbine with all original parts.
