Description:
Locally well known gunsmith Vern Fredrickson of Superior Wyoming Wildcat Magnum. He developed a proprietary line of cartridges known as the "Viking" line. Start with 7mm mag new brass (fired brass must be annealed first) Pass through the die pushing the shoulder back and necking down to 270. This gives you a more desirable longer neck. NOTE! the 12X leupold DOES NOT go with the , for display purposes only. 26" Shilen bbl, rifle basix trigger, 2# trigger pull. This rifle has only been fired the # of rounds you see spent in the box during load development. I settled on 65gr of RL22 as his 68gr recommendation was too warm for me. This project is definitely for the advanced reloader and wildcatter. A simple pass with a 270 Weatherby reamer would take the fun out for some, and simplify for others,LOL.
