This is a MUSEUM QUALITY PRISTINE Italian Vetterli Carbine M1870 original single shot in 10.4x47R mm. It is completely matching the bayonet is also matching which is very rare. It is marked ""Torino 1882". I do not think it was even dropped once! There are but a very few handling marks on it. It should be in a museum OR your Italian collection. In this condition, it is a “one of a kind”. It has the folding cleaning rod that fits into the covered slot in the butt.
CONDITION: Excellent. The bore is in excellent condition with strong rifling. Action is very crisp. It is in excellent (90+% original blue). The condition is better than the pictures show.
