The Piotti Over/Under is a superb example of the gunmaker's art in all ways; Boss style action, perfectly struck barrels, all parts made in Piotti's facility, exhibition wood with perfect inletting, and engraving that meets or surpasses any in the world. Certainly not the most expensive gun of its type on the planet, but not inexpensive either. This gun, if purchased new today with all of the extras including hand detachable locks, heel and toe plates, upgraded exhibition Turkish Circassian stocks, factory case and accessories, single trigger, gold letters and serial numbers, and Purdey style rose and scroll with game scene engraving by Creative Art, would exceed $105,000 and take a year to acquire. This fine Piotti, sn9510 built about 1999, is absolutely AS NEW, WITH NO VISIBLE WEAR INSIDE OR OUT, AND CAN BE HAD FOR A FRACTION OF ORDERING NEW. What a fantastic value we have at hand, and a more attractive, high quality gun would be hard to find. Ready for birds or clays, weighing 7 1/4lbs. and balanced perfectly on the hinge pin, it is one stunning gun! The value of new Piotti guns continues to climb, and as the cost of new guns goes up so does the value of the gently used guns.
