Manufacturer: Based on the Colt letter (included with purchase, see photo), the revolver was part of 1000 unit order which was shipped to the War Department in 1862.
Caliber Info: .44 Black Power, Cap & Ball.
Chambers: 6
Metal Condition: Refinished sometime ago with case colors and bluing. There is absolutely no etching left of the naval scene on the cylinder.
Wood Condition: Grips do not appear to have been refinished when the metal was done, however there is sign that they were re-lacquered a time or two many years previous.
Bore Condition: Light to medium corrosion with a couple of places with heavier corrosion, and yet there is some modest rifling left.

Triggers: Single action.
Stock: Walnut.
Sights: Brass blade front sight and V-notched hammer.
