Savage 1899F Take Down 2 Barrel Set - .300 Savage & .410 Bore. The receiver and barrels are showing some thinning of blue with some turning to brown patina. The lever has some very good case colors remaining. The stocks have been refinished with a lacquer oil finish and the checkering has been nicely re-cut. They were refinished some years ago and they look good but there are a few small scratches here and there. There is a 1 1/4" crack in the lacquer finish where it was layered on thick. See three photos showing the area of the left side of stock below the rear peep sight. There is also a repaired 1 1/4" crack in the wood of the butt-stock that begins at the toe end on the right side. This rifle shotgun take down rifle comes with a solid maple fitted wood case, cleaning tools and leather rifle sling. The maple wood case has a 2 5/8" Savage medallion embedded into the lid top. Very unique!
