This .54 Caliber rifle is of the type that is reported to be the guns carried by the Lewis & Clark “Western Exploring Expedition”.  The first model was made from 1803 to 1806.  There were a total of 4,023 produced and most were converted to percussion in later years.  The gun is brass mounted with a large brass patch box.  The gun has a half stock and an iron ramrod.  The lock is marked Harpers Ferry 1806 and an Eagle over US forward of the hammer. The 32 7/8 inch barrel is numbered 3379 and has a US and an Eagle R proof.  The wood is very nice and has a nice cheek rest on the left side.  US only – no international sales.  Buyer pays $30.00 shipping.  Three day inspection allowed if returned UNALTERED.  Antique – no FFL required.  If your state requires an FFL for antiques, you should call 251-510-5007 before buying.  Must be 21 years of age to purchase.  Any weapon you plan to shoot should be inspected by a competent gunsmith before firing.  Give us a call or email us at jimconfederateordinance for more information.
