Description:
A fine Colt single action army revolver, 1st. generation. SN 56xxx all matching. Gun is a 5 1/2"x ./44-40 and was made in 1880. Grips are wood and fit perfectly. Barrel and cylinder retain traces of blue and case colors are visible on the frame. The bore has strong rifling with some wear, but no pitting. Thrre is a small area of pitting next to the front sight, on the right side. Mechanically tight and a really nice appearing gun. Has not been messed with in any way.
