Payment Types Accepted: bank checks Description: This is a very high finish ( 95%+) condition artillery ( 8") model that has many good features and a few issues. It is marked properly as an import with the word "GERMANY" across the front of the grip frame right under the S#. The bore is bright shiny and strong with no flaws. The magazine is a correct aluminum bottom with no serial#. The grips are very good with no damage or appreciable wear. The barrel has no serial number which is often normal for post war commercials. No date on the top of the receiver - which is not unusual for some commercials. The strawed parts ( trigger, safety, mag release, extractor and takedown lever have about all the straw. The function is crisp and precise and it looks great. It also comes with a very old high quality reproduction artillery holster and shoulder board stock accessory which fits nice and snug. It all looks like a million bucks but there are some minor issues. The rear sight is slightly different from the one on my other artillery model even though the ranges engraved on the sight are the same. The rear toggle still has a sight notch on it - indicating it may have been made up of spare parts as was common. Germany suffered economically after the war and the Treaty of Versailles was brutally unjust - so nothing was wasted. It is priced accordingly.
