Description:
Very Scarce F.D.Bliss Pocket Revolver: Produced circa 1863-1864.
Cone and top strap groove sights, with the top of the barrel marked "F.D. BLISS. NEW HAVEN - CT". Fitted with smooth two piece rosewood grips.
Mechanically excellent. This is a .25 caliber rim-fire metallic cartridge pistol, six shot revolver... The frame has an even gray patina and the cylinder has traces of blue. Overall very nice looking.
Cocks and indexes fine. Grips are good.
A real gem of a Civil War revolver. Antique $895.
