Center hammer Percussion revolver, made in the late 1850s early 1860s. This large spur trigger is a 5-shot, .36 caliber, with an octagonal 3 3/4 inch barrel. Walnut grips. Although these are ALL unmarked they are assembly or serial numbered. The revolver has been well cleaned, and is lightly pitted overall, as seen in the photos. Mechanically it functions fine, cocks, indexes, and fires. Serial number 46, is a nice example for the ALLEN & WHEELOCK collector, and historically interesting as these were presumably made for the use of the Providence Police department on Rhode Island around 1860 $840.
